MSQRD

A bright and successful example that marked the beginning of my journey in building mobile applications.
In 2015, Eugene Nevgen invited me to join the development of MSQRD — an app using face tracking technology that allowed real-time animated masks to be applied to faces through a smartphone camera.

Collected feedback from top bloggers before the App Store release

Connected the project with Comedy Club Production

MQSRD in Comedy Club

Description
  • At the launch stage, I helped the team gather feedback from popular bloggers. This made it possible to adapt the product to real users more quickly.

  • At the same time, I introduced the project to Comedy Club Production, as a result of which the application was featured three times in the most popular TV show in the CIS.

Result
  • Thanks to the introduction to Comedy Club, the app quickly grew from 500 installs (in the first two weeks after launch) to 10M+ across the CIS, and then began to expand rapidly worldwide.

  • Three months after launch, MSQRD was acquired by Meta, becoming one of the most successful commercial deals in the IT sphere of Silicon Valley.
