How I connect companies and uncover UX insights in products.
In 2012, I met Pavel Durov, who supported my aspiration to travel to the UK. In London, by coincidence, I met the lead singer of one of his favorite bands.
Brought the music group The Prodigy to the VK.com

  • Thanks to a UX feature I discovered in vk.com (under NDA), I got in touch with Pavel Durov and received a grant from him.

  • With that grant, I traveled to London and, on the way, met the manager of LimeLight Nova on the plane. They happened to need a website for a project in Minsk. Later, I learned that the head of this company was a close friend of The Prodigy’s frontman, Maxim Reality.

  • I suggested inviting The Prodigy to “VKontakte,” which at the time was preparing for international expansion and had just acquired the vk.com domain.

  • The Prodigy launched their official community on vk.com and announced it across all their official platforms.

  • This was one of the first major international bands to open an official community on “VKontakte.”
